Marketing Does Not Mean Advertising

Posted on January 24, 2018 by Carol Enman

Marketing starts with the mission for your businesses existence.  Why do you exist?  What is your purpose, your goal?  Who do you provide your products or services for?   Why would they want or need these?  What are you going to do for your buyer?  Why are you qualified to provide what you offer?  Who, what, when, where, why...and anything else that is relevant to your mission and goals and what benefit will it provide to your buyers?

Once you have defined the above, you develop a robust, interactive, website focusing on the answers to the questions above.  The more professional your site looks, the better you present yourself to your buyers, with your content being most important.  Your website is your 24/7 marketing and sales tool.

Advertising is just one of many ways to influence prospects to go to your site.
